I remember at the Spring IT Roundtable in Houston the discussions about Katharion as an option for spam filtering. Who is using this service and what is your impression of it? We are not getting killed with spam but just enough to be nuisance.
We are using it, overall it has been great. The filter only lets one or two slip by a day even on our worst hit accounts. Haven't had one false positive yet.
We're using it and quite happy. We still have our Barracuda in place, and it's interesting how Katharion and Barracuda each have their small misses. Further amazing, despite this double pipeline, a few spam messages still get through daily. However, back to your original question: we are very satisfied with Katharion.
We have also been using it for a while (about 4 months now). Previously we had been using Computer Associates Secure Content Manager. I really like Katharion- and they will filter subdomain aliases for no charge.
